Purple Plum Radish History

The Purple Plum Radish has a handsome violet purple skin with white crisp flesh. It is Sweet and mild all season. A great addition to salads and relish trays. Hardy, very easy to grow. 30 days from transplant. This small round shaped radish is early to harvest, which makes it great for home and market growers. The pulp is white and very aromatic. Ideal as raw food, salad or garnish. Best sown in early spring and again in mid-summer for fall harvest.

Purple Radish Growing

Plant radish seed in the garden as soon as the garden soil can be reasonably worked. Plant your radish garden in a shady, moist location.
