Ask veteran gardeners what the secret to successful gardening is, and you’ll hear one word over and over again. Compost.
Compost is decayed organic material like grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, weeds, manure, sawdust, eggshells, coffee grounds, and vegetable scraps. There are multitudes of compost “recipes,” but they all have one thing in common – they take a long time to “cook.” As the compost materials break down, they provide an accessible source of nutrients in the soil. But there’s one drawback – it takes months for compost ingredients to break down sufficiently to add to your soil … and it takes years of composting to build a truly rich, nourishing garden bed. Not only that, but composting takes considerable hands-on effort as well. You have to collect the composting materials, make sure you have the right balance of materials, stir it periodically, and so on.
But your plants need nourishment now.
And that’s where ProtoGrow(TM) comes in. ProtoGrow(TM) is fertilizer, which is technically different than compost; fertilizers nourish plants directly, while compost builds healthy soil, nourishing plants indirectly. But here’s the thing – ProtoGrow(TM) actually does act like compost too. (I’ll tell you more about that in a minute.)
Unlike most of the fertilizers on the market today, which are often made by mixing man-made chemicals together in combinations not found in nature, ProtoGrow(TM) is completely natural. It’s a unique blend of two things that are made by Mother Nature: micronutrients from a very special kelp extract, and the macronutrients from North Atlantic Fish. Research performed at Clemson University showed that ingredients found in ProtoGrow(TM) cause rapid plant growth. The researchers hypothesized that the trace minerals present in the kelp are what does it.
Just use ProtoGrow(TM) as directed … and prepare to be amazed! First you’ll notice that the plant leaves darken. This indicates increased nutrient density. Your plants and flowers will also become more resistant to disease, insects, and weather extremes. Flower blossoms will be larger, brighter, and more abundant. Fruits and veggies will be hardier and larger and more colorful than ever before.
You will also notice something else amazing about your garden produce. The storage life and quality increases. Researchers are hypothesizing here, but they think it’s because ProtoGrow(TM) contains substances that slow down the loss of proteins, chlorophyll, and RNA over time.
But that’s not all. ProtoGrow(TM) does something else too – it acts like compost. Some of the nutrients actually help build healthy microorganisms in the soil – much the way compost does … only a lot faster and with a whole lot less work! (We think composting is a great idea, but while you’re waiting for your compost pile to season, ProtoGrow(TM) is an easy and practical alternative.)
Look, no matter what you’re growing this year, you don’t want to be without ProtoGrow(TM). Your garden produce will grow faster and produce larger, more robust fruits. Your flower blossoms will be bigger and brighter. ProtoGrow(TM) truly is like having compost in a bottle!
